IKEA Business Services (IBS) is a new global IKEA Group function. Our assignment is to take care of transactional services for all IKEA Group organizations in all countries where IKEA has business activities. We work for a standardized, harmonized and automated way of doing transactional (repetitive) administrative tasks within IKEA. To start with we mainly work in the field of Finance and HR administration. We deliver our services through our operational units (BSC’s), today located in Europe and Asia Pacific, and soon also in North America.

Senior Payroll Specialist with Hungarian

As part of the payroll team in the HR Business Service Center (BSC) Poznan you will support the Department Head Payroll in building up the Payroll part of the HR BSC. You perform all Payroll Processes according the rules and guidelines within IKEA and in line with global processes and directions, legal standards and country specific requirements. You partner with BSC Personnel Administration Team to ensure data accuracy and correct processing of payroll. You actively support interaction with Finance in post payroll activities.

  • Process Payroll timely and accurately using the IKEA Payroll Processing routines
  • Ensure that Payroll processes are in line with global processes and directions, legal standards and country specific requirements and comply with legislative obligations and internal auditing requirements
  • Execute required interfaces with established business partners and external bodies.
  • Actively support integration and transition of HR transactional into HR BSC Poznan
  • Contribute as a member of the BSC HR Payroll Team and provide support to HR BSC Personnel Administration team and Payroll Accounting
  • Take an active role in coaching and developing junior payroll staff
  • Be a vital part of an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of both co-workers and customers

  • Expert knowledge of Payroll processes and specifics

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Good capabilities as team player and in knowledge sharing
  • Good English and very good Hungarian language skills
  • Knowledge of SAP/R3 HR environment will be an asset

  • Bachelor degree
  • Around 2 years working experience in high volume payroll production or domestic/international relocations with SAP Payroll Module or other related payroll software
  • Proficiency in working in a Windows-based computer environment and with Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge of Hungarian specific laws and jurisdiction and governing payroll practices
